Vermicelli upma
Vermicelli upma or samiya upma ingredients:1. Bambino vermicelli - 1 Cup 2. Onions - 1 big (cut int small pieces) 3. Green Chillies - 4 (cut int small pieces) 4. Chana dal - 2 tbs 5. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbs 6. Zeera - 1 tbs 7. Curry leaves 8. Potato - 1 small 9. Coriander leaves for garnishing
Samiya upma preparation:Take a pan and heat it.
Add bambino and fry it till light brown.
Take off the bambino from the pan and add 3 tbs oil.
Add cumin seeds, zeera and curry leaves and chana daal.
Add onions and green chilli pieces.
Cut potato into very small portions (as if for fry).
Microwave potato pieces in a vessel along with water, for 7-10 minutes.
Remove water and add the potato pieces to pan as well.
Fry for 3-5 minutes .
Add 3/4 cup of water and place a lid on the pan.
Add salt as per taste.
After 2-3 minutes when the water starts boiling , add fried bambino and mix well.
Leave it with lid for 5 minutes.
Add coriander leaves and stir well for 1-2 minutes.
