Thiruvadharai kali Ingredients:1 cup of raw rice 1 tsp split green gram Jaggery 1/2 Cup grated coconut 1 tsp cardamom powder cashew pieces 1 tbsp Ghee 1 tbsp
Thiruvadharai kali Method:Fry the cashews in ghee to golden Keep aside.
Clean the raw rice 2 to 3 times with water.
Dry on a clean sheet.When dry roast it golden Cool.
Grind to a coarse powder.
Dry roast green gram dal to golden and grind to a coarse powder.Mix with rice powder.
This will make one cup.
Take in a kadai 1 cup of powdered jageery in 21/2 cups of water.
When boiling add the rice powder slowly stirring all the way.
When nicely cooked add the coconut,Cardomom powder & fried cashews.Mix well.
Serve with Thalagam.
