Morkuzhambu Recipe

(South Indian Famous Yoghurt Recipe)

Morkuzhambu Recipe Ingredients:

Bengal gram-2cups
Onion-2(medium)
Cocount-1/2 cup(grated)
Coriander seeds-2tbsp
red chillies-4
Ginger-1/2 inch
Curd-1 cup
Salt- as needed
Jeera - 1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Roasted gram-2tsp
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Turmeric Powder - 2 pinch

How to Make Morkuzhambu:

Soak bengal gram for 45 mins,after that grind soaked bengal gram with red chiily,ginger,salt.

Take this mixture in a bowl and add onions,coconut to it.

Mix well,Make small balls of that mixture,then bake it for about 15mins.

Also make a paste of coconut,jeera,coriander seeds,roasted gram with some water.

Now heat oil in a pan,put mustard seeds,curry leaves to it,and put the pated mixture and cook for a minute then add curd,turmeric powder,salt to the paste, after 20 seconds add the cooked balls to the curd.

cook for 2 mins and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
