Kandi Podi

(Andhra famous spicy and tasty podi recipe)

Kandi podi ingredients:

Toor dal-2 cups
Channa dal-2 cups
Red chilles 10-12 as per your taste
Hing-1 tablespoon
Jeera-1 tablespoon

Procedure:

Fry toordal and channa dal in a dry pan until they get golden brown.

Now fry red chilli for 5 minutes.

Fry Jeera for 5 minutes at the end add hing.

Allow all the above ingredients to cool.

Add red chilli, jeera, and hing in a mixie jar and powder them, take them aside.

Now add Toor dal and channa dal and powder them until it becomes a smooth powder, now mix the chilli powder which we have done first in the toor dal and channa dal powder, add salt as per your taste and mix them once on the mixer.

This is very tasty with rice.

Add groundnut oil or ghee when you mix it with rice, it tastes so good.
