Dodol Recipe
(Ceylon Sweet Recipe)
Dodol recipe (Ceylon sweet) ingredients:250 gm rice flour 50 gm Cashew nuts 250 gm Jaggery 1/4 inch Cinnamon powdered 250 ml Thick Coconut milk a pinch of salt
Method:Chop the cashew nuts and grate the jaggery.
Take a bowl and add rice flour,cinnamon powder and salt and mix well.
Add the jaggery and coconut milk and mix thoroughly.
Place mixture in a pan and cook over a medium heat, keep stirring until it thickens.
Add the cashew nuts, mix well, then turn onto a flat buttered dish.
Smooth the surface and when cool cut into diamond shaped pieces.
