Coconut milk rice
Coconut milk rice ingredients:1. Rice - 2 cups 2. Water - 4 cups 3. Coconut milk - 1 cup 4. Garlic flakes - 5, finely chopped 5. Ginger - small piece, minced 6. Pepper corns - 1/2 teaspoon 7. Green chillies - 5 or to taste, finely chopped 8. Oil - 1/2 tbsp 9. Turmeric powder - a pinch 10. Salt - to taste
Coconut rice preparation:Take a pan and heat with oil.
Add pepper, chopped ginger, chopped garlic and chopped green chillies.
Saute for 3-5 mins or the raw smell disappears.
Add coconut milk and make to boil to reduce into half a quantity.
Add salt to taste and turmeric powder.
Then put rice which is soaked in water for ten mns.
keep in pressure cooker and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Remove from flame and serve hot with any kind of spicy or creamy curry.
