CHICKEN CURRY
INDIAN NON VEG RECIPE
Chicken curry ingredients:
1. Chicken - 500 g
2. Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
3. Green chillies - 2 slit into half
4. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
5. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
6. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
7. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
8. Garam masala - 1 tsp
9. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
10. Fresh cream or Curd - 1 cup
11. Cloves - 2
12. Cardamom - 2
13. Cinnamon - small stick
14. Coriander leaves - few
15. Oil - 4 tbsp
16. Salt - to taste
Chicken curry preparation:
Clean and wash the chicken pieces.
Drain all the water.
Take a heavy bottomed vessel and heat with oil.
Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
Then add the chopped onions.
Saute till the onion colour changes to golden brown colour.
Then add ginger garlic paste and green chillies.
Saute till the raw smell disappears.
Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and garam masala.
Saute for few seconds.
Add chicken pieces and combine well.
Now add the fresh cream or curd and once again combine well.
Then add 1 cup of water and cover with a lid.
Cook on low flame till the chicken pieces are completely cooked.
Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with white rice, roti etc...
