CHAKKARA PONGAL
INDIAN SWEET RECIPE
Chakkara pongal ingredients:
1. Rice – 1 cup
2. Moong dal – ¼ cup
3. Jaggery (grated) – 1 cup
4. Ghee - 2 tbsp
5. Milk – 3 cups
6. Cashew nuts – 10
7. Cardamom – 2
8. Cloves – 2
Sarkara Pongal Preparation:
Clean and wash the rice and dal.
brCook the rice and dal with milk till they become soft.
Take water and jaggery and boil it until it dissolves in water and become thick.
Then mix with cooked rice.
Stir well on low flame till well mixed.
Add ghee and crushed cardamom and cloves.
Combine well.
Finally garnish with cashew nuts.
Serve hot.
