CARROT HALWA
INDIAN HALWA RECIPE
Carrot halwa ingredients:1. Carrot -1/2 kg 2. Milk - 750 ml 3. Sugar - 250 g 4. Cardamom powder - a pinch 5. Cashew nut - 10 (roasted) 6. Ghee - 1 tbsp 7. Badam - 5 (optional) 8. Pista - 5 (optional)
Halwa Preparation: Peel and grate the carrots.
Take the pan and heat with ghee.
Then add grated carrot.
Stir well on low flame till the raw smell disappears.
Then and milk.
Boil till thick.
Once it starts thickening stir continuously.
Then add sugar.
Cook further till thickness.
Now add ghee and cardamom powder.
Stir on low flame till the ghee oozes out.
Garnish with cashew nuts, pista and almonds.
Gajar ka halwa is ready .
Serve hot or cold.
