Easy and tasty snack recipe
Banana Chips ingredients:
1. Raw banana (plantain) – 2
2. Oil – for deep fry
3. salt – to taste
4. Chilli powder – to taste
Green plantain chips or Aratikaya preparation:
Peel and cut the plantain into thin slices and keep aside.Heat a pan with oil.
When the oil become enough hot slowly and carefully drop the banana slices.
Drop just enough plantain slices such that the vessel isn’t overloaded.
Deep fry the green banana slices in hot oil till they turn into nice golden brown colour.
Remove from heat and drain the excess of oil and put them in a paper towel.
Sprinkle with enough salt and chilli powder.
Allow them to cool for room temperature and store in an air-tight container.
