BADAM KHEER

INDIAN DESSERT RECIPE

Badam kheer ingredients:

1. Badam – 40
2. Milk - 4 cups
3. Sugar – 4 tbsp or to taste
4. Cardamom – a pinch (optional)
5. Saffron threads – 5 -7 (soaked in warm water)



Almond Dessert Preparation:

Soak badam in hot water 30 mins.

Remove the skin and grind to a paste.

Now take a heavy bottomed pan and add milk.

Bring it to boil till the milk is reduced to ¾ Th quantity.

Then add sugar and add the badam paste.

Stir continuously.

Finally add cardamom powder.

Remove from the heat.

Finally garnish with saffron threads and silvered badam.

Almond kheer is ready to serve.

Serve hot or cold.
