Home made coconut macaroons

(Srilankan coconut macaroons)


Home made coconut macaroons ingredients:

2 egg whites
180 grams sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon almond essence
1 cup desiccated coconut

Srilankan Macaroons Preparation:

Preheat oven 150 degrees C.

Beat egg whites and sugar on high speed and electric mixer.about 5 minutes.

Add vanilla and almond essence,beat well.

Mix desiccated coconut.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and serve.
